Compared with day one, the day two of Common Entrance Test (CET) 2012 had more number of happy and relieved faces after it got over. Students found both Physics and Chemistry papers far easier to handle than Monday's Maths and Biology papers. "I found both Physics and Chemistry papers were easy. Compared with Biology and Maths, both the subjects of day two were easy," said Kiran Kumar of Sheshadripuram PU College. Agreeing with Kiran, Suhas said, "Even I found Physics and Chemistry easy. The Mathematics paper on Monday was really difficult. Compared with that today's papers were not lengthy and just needed our memory power and time management tricks." "I am happy that we are relaxed. The tension was there on us almost from a year, finally we are out of it," said Ambika PT of MES College. The test was conducted in 248 centres across the state. This year about 1,20,945 candidates applied for the test across the state. Of that 31,622 candidates appeared in centres located within Bangalore. The attendance for Biology and Mathematics was 74.55% and 96.18% on Monday. II PU results today Though the conclusion of the test brought relief to ICSE and CBSE students, for those in the state board there was no such respite. They have to now brace for the second year pre-university examination results, to be declared on Wednesday. "We have just come out of CET pressure, but now we need to undergo the tension of results," said Kruthika of KLE college."
